Understanding the Framework is the First Step
Singapore's immigration system uses separate statuses, travel documents, identity numbers and work permissions. Understanding those distinctions helps prevent avoidable application errors.
Rules and thresholds can change. Check the official source listed on each entry before relying on a definition for an application or employment decision.
Singapore PR consultantICA is the sole decision-making authority for PR and Citizenship. No advisory firm can guarantee outcomes.
ICA states that complete PR applications are generally processed within 6 months and citizenship applications within 12 months; some take longer.
PR status and a Re-Entry Permit are different. The REP governs retention of PR status while overseas.
Family members do not receive PR automatically. Each person must be included through an eligible application route and complete ICA's formalities.
