Does LTVP+ automatically allow someone to work?
No. An eligible holder may receive or apply for a PLOC, have a prospective employer apply for an LOC, or need another work pass.
A Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) is a family or long-stay immigration pass issued by either ICA or MOM, depending on the sponsor and relationship; LTVP+ is an ICA facility for eligible foreign spouses of Singapore citizens.
ICA handles LTVP applications for listed family and long-stay categories connected to Singapore citizens or permanent residents, as well as certain other categories on its application page.
MOM issues an LTVP for specified family members of eligible EP or S Pass holders earning at least S$6,000; sponsoring parents requires at least S$12,000.
LTVP+ is not automatic for every foreign spouse of a Singapore citizen and is not itself unrestricted work authorisation.
Eligible ICA-issued LTVP/LTVP+ holders may work under a PLOC or an employer-applied LOC, depending on the route and conditions. Others need an appropriate work pass.
An LTVP or LTVP+ does not itself confer PR.

| MOM LTVP | Specified family members of an eligible EP or S Pass holder | An appropriate work pass is generally required to work |
LTVP+ provides a longer period of residency and healthcare subsidies for eligible foreign spouses of Singapore citizens. Employment permission comes from the applicable PLOC, LOC or work pass, not from LTVP+ alone.
