Fee-After-Approval

No Advisory Fee
Unless and Until ICA Approves

The initial profile assessment is free. If you proceed with advisory support, Pier Immigration's advisory fee is payable only if and when ICA approves your PR or Citizenship application. If ICA rejects the application, no Pier advisory fee is owed.

Pier's commercial terms are separate from government charges. For Singapore PR applications, ICA charges S$100 at submission for each application. Fee-after-approval describes when Pier's advisory fee is due; it is not a guarantee of outcome.

What the Initial Assessment Covers

The first step at Pier Immigration is a private profile assessment, at no cost. It is a structured review of your professional history, pass type, salary, industry, family situation, and timing. It is designed to give you a clear picture of where your case stands before any advisory engagement begins.

  • Route verification

Confirm the relevant ICA category, applicant and sponsor roles, included family members, and applicable submission process.

  • Document mapping

Map the current official checklist to identity, family, employment, qualification, tax, business, or study records that apply.

  • Consistency review

Check names, dates, roles, addresses, family details, translations, and drafted answers for gaps or contradictions.

  • Recommendation

A clear verdict: apply now, wait, or prepare differently, with the reasoning behind each conclusion.

The initial profile assessment is free and carries no obligation to proceed. It reviews the application category, document gaps and preparation steps, with a recommendation to apply, complete specific preparation first, or check a different route. It does not predict approval.

Why Fee-After-Approval

Pier Immigration does not collect its advisory fee before the outcome. The advisory fee becomes payable only if ICA approves the application; government charges remain separate.

No Pier advisory fee unless ICA approves

If a client proceeds after the free assessment, Pier Immigration's advisory fee is payable only if and when ICA approves the application. If ICA rejects the application, no Pier advisory fee is owed. The engagement scope is agreed in writing before advisory work begins.

Scope is still agreed in writing

After the free assessment, if you choose to proceed, the engagement scope is set out in writing before any advisory work begins, so both sides know what is covered.

This describes payment timing, not a guaranteed outcome

ICA is the sole decision-maker on any PR or Citizenship application. Fee-after-approval describes when Pier’s advisory fee becomes payable. It does not mean approval is guaranteed.

Your Written Quotation and Engagement Terms

The advisory amount is not published on this page. Ask for a written quotation identifying the applicants, services, advisory amount and payment deadline before deciding whether to proceed.

Before agreeing to an engagement, ask for written terms covering withdrawal before a decision, reapplications after rejection, and joint family applications where only some applicants are approved. Do not assume that work on a new application is included in an earlier engagement.

What Determines Engagement Scope

After the free assessment, if you choose to proceed with advisory support, the engagement scope is agreed in writing before any further work begins. Factors that typically expand scope include:

Prior rejection on record

Complex income or business structure

Multiple family members applying jointly

Urgent document or translation requirements

Prior applications requiring record comparison

Cross-border living arrangements to address

A file with one applicant and complete, consistent records may require less review than a household application, a prior filing, or a file with missing and conflicting documents.

Pier Advisory Fees and ICA Fees Are Separate

Pier's payment terms do not remove or replace charges imposed directly by ICA.

Fees at a glance
Fee Charged by Amount When payable
Initial profile assessment Pier Immigration Free No obligation to proceed
Advisory fee Pier Immigration Written quotation Only if and when ICA approves
PR application fee ICA S$100 per application At submission
Citizenship application fee (adult PR) ICA S$100 per application At submission; certificate and IC fees on approval
  • The initial Pier profile assessment is free, with no obligation to proceed
  • If ICA rejects the application, no Pier advisory fee is owed
  • ICA separately charges S$100 at submission for each Singapore PR application. This government fee is independent of Pier Immigration's assessment and advisory terms. Confirm the current fee on ICA's website.
  • For Singapore citizenship, ICA lists S$100 per application for adult permanent residents and children of permanent residents. Citizenship certificate and identity-card fees are separate and apply on approval where required. Child application categories can have different fees; check ICA's current fee table for the category that applies. Check ICA's citizenship fee table.

Thinking through citizenship as a long-term PR

S. W. · Citizenship applicant · Long-term PR holder

Their profile
A long-term Singapore PR holder preparing a citizenship application.
Why they came to Pier

This long-term PR holder was applying independently and wanted to think carefully about citizenship, including the implications of giving up their existing citizenship.

How Pier helped

They went through my old pass cards and passport pages and found two documents I'd need that I'd left at my parents' place. They asked about being on my condo's management committee and helped me show that in the application.

The client's experience

Becoming a citizen was a big decision, and Pier helped me think it through properly.
